INSTALLATION MEETING

The Installation Meeting was held on 14th July, 2024 at 8.00 pm at Hotel Park View. The theme of the meeting was : “MY OBJECTIVE TO JOIN LIONS CLUB”. The Agenda of the meeting was as under : • Meeting called to order by President Lion Rajendra Mahimkar • Invocation prayer by Lion Bhavna Dewani • Flag Salutation by Lion Uday Chhatre • National Anthem • Welcome address by President Lion Rajendra Mahimkar • Secretary’s report by Lion Prem Dewani • Introduction of Chief Guest and Installation officer PMCC and PDG Lion Chandrashekar Ghag by Lion Rashida Kapadia • Installation Ceremony by Chief Guest and Installation officer Lion Chandrashekar Ghag • Acceptance speech by President Lion Rajendra Mahimkar • Tale Twisting by Lion Manohar Motwani • Announcement and Vote of Thanks by Secretary Lion Mickey Kapadia • Adjournment The Meeting called to order by President Lion Rajendra Mahimkar at 8.00 pm. He acknowledged the presence of ZC Lion Unnati Dhurandhar and her spouse Lion Kanishk Dhurandhar and fellow lions. Thereafter the Welcome address was called by President Lion Rajendra Mahimkar which was followed by Secretary’s report by Lion Prem Dewani. This was followed by the Introduction of Chief Guest and Installation officer PMCC and PDG Lion Chandrashekar Ghag by Lion Rashida Kapadia. Chief Guest and Installation officer PMCC and PDG Lion Chandrashekar Ghag inducted the new lion members Lion Kiran Madan and Lion Seema Madan and gave them the Introductory Kit and pins and certificate. The Lighting of the Lamps was done by him followed by all the women members present. He then inducted each and every member and whilst induction explained them their roles and responsibilities and each of the members light the lamp. The theme of the meeting was : “MY OBJECTIVE TO JOIN LIONS CLUB”, hence he asked each and every member about their objective and reasons to join Lions Club. He said that our club though small in size has full representation in the District. Our club members donate generously when need arises with personal contributions. The various projects undertaken by our club in the year 2023 – 24 were stated. Tale Twister Lion Manohar Motwani regaled us with various jokes where all the members present were overjoyed and the entire gathering came to fits of laughter. Thereafter he gave us some inspiring talk which was very worldly and wise. Announcement and Vote of Thanks was given by Secretary Lion Mickey Kapadia. This was followed by adjournment of the meeting by President Mahimkar at 11.00 pm. Dinner / Refreshments / Drinks / Cocktails.
