The Board cum Regular Meeting was held on 20th April, 2025 at 8.00 pm at Hotel Park View. The following members from our club were present : Lion Rajendra and Mugda Mahimkar Lion Prem and Bhavna Dewani Lion Kiran and Seema Madan Lion Uday and Kanchan Chhatre Lion Vijay and Vijaylaxmi Iyengar Lion Raju Jadwani and Lion Sangeeta Jadwani Lion Rajesh Mulchandani Lion Kripa Ram Chaddha Lion G D Kapur The following members requested leave of absence: Lion Manohar and Shubhada Motwani, Lion Manoj Hemrajani and Lion Jayesh Bhagchandani could not be present and hence a leave of absence was granted to them. Adjournment Key points of the meeting : Our President Lion Rajendra Mahimkar explained about the water lifting and water supply to Savare Village, which will benefit 300 villagers. This project is our club’s permanent project involving a cost around Rs.40 Lakh contributed by six other Clubs from the District with our Club’s contribution of Rs.4 Lakh. He explained that some of the check dams were already excavated, repaired and painted. The pipeline from the river to the top was already done. The solar panels were installed. Hence the project was nearing completion and that the club members should visit this site in June when the weather would be cooler. There were some members who wanted a change in the venue of the meetings. However, after long discussion it was concluded that this (Hotel Park View) was the best option as it was the cheapest venue which fitted in the budget of our club. Also, if need be, we could go to another venue and the bill would be divided equally between the members present for that meeting. Announcements: • Multiple District Convention will be held on 1st May, 2025. • Awards Night on 22nd June, 2025. • Club Installation for the year 2025 – 26 will be held on Sunday, 29th June, 2025. Announcement and Vote of Thanks was given by Secretary Lion Mickey Kapadia. This was followed by adjournment of the meeting by President Mahimkar. Dinner / Refreshments / Drinks / Cocktails.
