The Inspiring Journey of PMJF Manoj Babur

  • In the year 2003, a new chapter began in the life of PMJF Manoj Babur with a firm commitment to the motto “We Serve. ” Since joining the Lions Club of Bombay Malad Marve, Manoj has carved a remarkable path marked by service, leadership, and unwavering dedication to the community. Starting humbly as a Club Secretary in 2009, his passion for service and ability to lead became quickly evident. Over the next few years, he rose through the ranks—serving as Club Vice President (2010–2012) and taking the helm as Club President in 2013. Each role brought new responsibilities, which he met with energy and purpose. In 2014, Manoj expanded his service to a broader level as Zone Chairperson, followed by the role of Region Chairperson in 2015. His commitment to transparency and financial management led to his appointment as Additional District Cabinet Treasurer in 2016. He further took on dual responsibilities in 2017, serving as both the District Cabinet PRO and Lions Information Chairperson, enhancing communication and visibility across the district. By 2018, he was entrusted with the role of District Cabinet Secretary, followed by consecutive appointments as Vision Chairman in 2019 and 2020. His dedication to impactful service continued as he became the District GST Chairperson in 2021, and later contributed significantly as District Twinning Chairman (2022) and District Training Chairman (2023). Throughout his journey, Manoj has not just held positions—he has made a difference. His leadership has been recognized globally, earning 10 International President Certificates, 5 International President Medals, and 2 Leadership Medals. He was also honored as the Committed Lion of the Year, a testament to his tireless devotion. His efforts were particularly celebrated in 2021–22, a landmark year during which he was recognized with:

    One of his most impactful contributions came in the form of community upliftment—ensuring 100% Club Service Reporting for the first time in district history (2021–22), and overseeing the installation of 35 Ultra Filtration Drinking Water Machines in rural
    schools, benefiting over 25,000 children. He also successfully extended two new clubs and brought in 20 new members, helping grow the Lions family. On personal front his partner in Service is Barkha Babur and has two beautiful daughters Trishala and Mahek.He is Stock Analyst.
